What Would It Take to Build an Android?
Type: Open House or Tour
The life-like android (robot) has long been a fixture of our favorite science fiction stories, but what would it take to make a believable android in real life? In this planetarium show we will explore this question while learning about human biology from the nervous system to respiratory and others. Participants will gain an appreciation for the complexity and connectivity of the organ systems that keep us alive. A biologist will lead the presentation and answer questions throughout and at the end.
