How Much Water is ‘Hidden’ in Your Everyday Life?
Type: Expo Zone
The average American uses over 2,000 gallons of water a day, but we only see 5% of that go down the drain. The rest is ‘hidden water,’ which is the water required to produce the commodities we interact with every day, such as our electricity, the clothes we wear, or our morning coffee. Come on down and play ‘The Water Price is Right!’ Each participant will be asked to guess the ‘water price’ of items they typically use as they go about their day. Participants will see that ‘hidden water’ is essential to every aspect of their lives.
