Please refer to the parking information below to help in preparing your visit. Parking is affected by shared use as well as construction. Factoring extra time into your plan is suggested. We encourage that you use the bus or, weather permitting, travel by bicycle. Please note that the MSU Parking Office will be waiving bicycle registration for festival visitors April 5 – April 20, 2019. The bicycle must be parked AND locked at a bicycle rack as well as in working order; otherwise, it may be impounded.
Lots on campus are signed at their entrances with general requirements and restrictions. Be aware that many lots on campus require an MSU employee or student parking permit.
Go to https://police.msu.edu/parking-services/visitor-parking/ for visitor parking locations and details on use, hours of operation, rates and links to a campus map with corresponding lot numbers and locations. Options include paid parking at meters and pay-by-plate locations.
Should there be a special event and the lot is staffed by special event personnel, all are subject to special event requirements and restrictions. It is suggested you be prepared to pay a cash event parking fee of $10.
Please note that on April 6 and April 13, there will be several events happening on campus, including a track meet, 5K run and the spring football game. Parking will likely be at capacity near the Spartan Stadium and Breslin Center and some lots will be held by event staff. On April 13, while there is not a fee to park for the spring football game, lots that may be less affected on those dates will be nearer the east side of campus (e.g. Ramps 1, Lot 92, Lot 100).
