BioBlitz Featured Location: Indian Springs Metropark

Description:
Indian Springs Metropark is a 2,500-acre park located in White Lake, Michigan. The park features a 60-acre restored prairie with an established nature trail, countless wetland habitats, and approximately 3.5 miles of wooded hiking trails. Habitats that are found within the park include, but are not limited to, marsh, fen, vernal pond, man-made kettle pool, lake, the Huron River, the Huron Swamp, forest, and prairie. The park also features the Environmental Discovery Center, a large building devoted to environmental discovery and education for all ages.
