Description:
Riverview Natural Area is a 419-acre property that includes 4 miles of marked trails and boardwalks. There are many different ecosystem types present: 1 ¾ miles of river frontage along the Tittabawassee River, upland and lowland forest, emergent wetlands, and agricultural fields. Vernal pools are present in this area as well. There also have been 3 state-listed species found at this site (Forked aster, American gromwell, and beak grass) and blue-spotted salamanders among other organisms!
