Biology on Tap
Brews, buds, and biology! Biology on Tap features talks by MSU researchers at local bars/pubs each month. Learn about science and interact with researchers by asking questions or chatting with them afterward. We also have a short trivia contest during intermission, and attendees who participate are entered to win raffle prizes at the end of the night!
Our April event will feature talks by Dr. Mason McNair on how Dungeons & Dragons can be used as a tool for high school level botany education and Dr. Aathmaja Anandhi Rangarajan on how bacteria decide to live as lone cells or stick together as communities and what impacts that can have on human health, industry, and agriculture.
This event is likely most exciting for audiences 18+, however our venue is open to all ages. All are welcome.
