Michigan Sea Grant is on a mission to educate people about the Great Lakes. Sitting in the heart of the basin, Michigan is surrounded by water and all of the spectacular things that brings — which leaves us with plenty of information to cover. Saginaw Children's Zoo

Sea Life Michigan Aquarium

SEA LIFE Michigan is the state’s largest aquarium with over 250 species and 2,000 creatures including sharks, rays, green sea turtles and more! Journey through the freshwater lakes of Michigan all the way to the depths of the ocean and meet the amazing creatures that live there. Then, visit the Interactive Touchpool and learn what it feels like to pet a crab, urchin, sea star and other rockpool creatures! Finish your adventure by strolling through the Underwater Ocean Tunnel and watch as thousands of tropical fish swim overhead! To get any closer, you'd have to get wet!

The Kalamazoo Nature Center is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to inspire people to care for the environment by providing experiences that lead them to understand their connection to the natural world.

Huron Pines

Huron Pines is a nonprofit, nongovernmental 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of conserving the forests, lakes and streams of Northeast Michigan. Our 2013 projects include invasive species control, land stewardship, small dam removal, environmental education, and watershed restoration. Videos on this channel show a mix of projects we complete and things we love about Northeast Michigan.

Project FISH

Project F.I.S.H is an educational program for youth and families sponsored locally by schools, fishing conservation organizations, others interested in fishing and our fisheries.

Longway Planetarium

We inspire our community by providing educational experiences in science and regional history through artifacts, outreach, exhibits, and programs. Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium are funded in part by the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage funds.

Besser Planetarium

Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan is an educational institution dedicated to providing the public with enriching cultural experiences in art, history and science. The Museum’s eight-acre campus offers a modern 42,000 square foot facility containing a collection of over 47,000 artifacts.

Upper Peninsula Land Conservancy

The Upper Peninsula Land Conservancy (UPLC) has been working since 1999 to conserve and protect the land of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We aim to promote healthy natural ecosystems – including clean water, wildlife habitat, and recreation opportunities – for future generations. With the help of volunteers, partnering organizations, and donors like you, we protect more than 6,000 acres in the Upper Peninsula! Our protected properties include 11 dedicated Preserves, 24 experimental working forest Reserves, and 21 Conservation Easements with private land owners and partnering organizations.
